The MUL-OLS-100 for Singlemode Fiber is a handheld optical light source with an ergonomic design that uses the latest technology in the Optic Fiber field. The Multicom Optical light source provides outstanding functionality and durability with dual wavelength 1310/1550nm laser output for single mode fiber measurements.

The OLS is feature rich with a user-friendly interface. The Multicom OLS is the perfect match for every technician in performing high precision and sensitive insertion loss measurement and link loss of installed cables. Itâ€™s continuous wave and the four different modulated modes will help in identifying loss in the system.

The optical light source is used to exactly perform loss and signal line tests on optical fiber cables and help to carefully assess transmission quality on a fiber network. The optical light source completes the measurement set with a power meter.
